RESIN

Resin is a very versatile and hard wearing product, it can be used to replicate many finishes that would not otherwise be suitable for certain applications. We have used it to replicate gesso, for example, in wet or damp areas, also to recreate ceramic tiles on curved surfaces or ceilings where weight can be a problem. We have also employed its hard wearing qualities to imitate fabric in high traffic areas (lifts and lobbies). The addition of metal powders can give a very textured metallic finish, it also gives great depth when cast behind glass. We also use it's transparent and translucent qualities to recreate the look of precious or semi-precious minerals and have used it extensively to recreate amber panels when we where commissioned to recreate the Amber Room from Catherine's Palace at Pushkin near St. Petersburg for a London Casino.
